Intuit

THE CHALLENGE

In the year 2022, I had an opportunity to join Intuit's Identity team in India as their first & only designer surrounded by engineers & PMs. The team had a massive challenge ahead to build the Intuit Enterprise Suite, a bet on a product that'd become the costliest offering in Intuit's history of 45 years. I was tasked to lead design & research for various verticals including Authorisation, Authentication, Privacy & Consent, Connected Identity & contribute to the IES vision.

WHAT I DID

While the Intuit customers had no unified way to manage privacy & consent across products and the GDPR/CCPA regulations demanding platform solutions. The first task was to build trust & credibility by proving that design matters, delivering business impact at scale & ultimately earning the mandate to build the design team in India. I went on to lead core user management experience for Intuit Enterprise Suite with projected $11B+ revenue for FY2025, selling at $20,000+ per enterprise. After the beta launch itself, Intuit's stock price jumped from $380 to $690, beating its previous best. Also designed the Privacy & Consent Management platform across Quickbooks, TurboTax and Credit Karma, generating $30M+ revenue and mitigating over $8M in regulatory risk. In just two years after proving my worth, I was able to earn the mandate to build the team & hired 5 designers (NID M.Des grads), out of which I coached & mentored 3 junior designers while establishing the team along with the design & research culture.
